I OFTEN WONDER ...
This photo was taken circa 1998 in Nicollet Island, Minneapolis, MN, US., by Packmatt, and posted on Flickr, where the exact location is given where the photo was taken. Friends were willing to find out whether the building and the painting are still there.
As you can see on the second photo, the image suffered a lot of wear, and parts of the quatrain have become hard to read. Also Omar Khayyám's name has disappeared. This second photo was taken recently, in February 2012.
