G. Burger - 2010
Gerard Burger (1948-2010), in his lifetime president of the Deventer department of the 'Humanistisch Verbond', and teacher at Saxion School of Healthcare, issued an adaptation of 80 quatrains, based on various English and German sources. The little volume, of which only 30 copies were printed and distributed among friends, included four quatrains by FitzGerald, four by J.H. Leopold, and two by P.C. Boutens.
