C. Anet

Claude Anet (author's name of Jean Schopfer), was a French novelist, journalist and tennis player, born in Morges (Switzerland), who lived from 1868 to 1931. Some of his novels were adapted to cinema, such as "Ariane, jeune fille russe" and "Mayerling". Anet travelled through Russia during the revolution and published a number of books on his trips through Russia and Persia.
