In de Cambridge University Library vindt tot 18 december 2004 een tentoonstelling plaats Writing Poetry: Manuscript Verse, 250 BC to 2000 AD.
"This exhibition celebrates the writing of poetry: it examines the inspirations for poems, explores the place of poetry in the University, and highlights the ways in which poetical manuscripts have been studied to establish accurate texts and to understand the creative act."
Getoond worden onder meer de manuscripten die Edward FitzGerald gebruikte voor zijn vertaling van de Rubáiyát.
