Februay 16, a Lunchtime Concert of Persian Classical Music took place in the Entrance Hall of the British Library. It was a musical event in celebration of the magnificent poetry of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. Vida Edalat and the Saba Ensemble performed with complex yet subtle traditional instruments Santoor, Daf and Tomback. With readings from the Rubaiyat by Lobat Vala and Narguess Farzad.
The event was presented in association with Iran Heritage Foundation.
